Ukraine

Kiev The Ukraine has been the traditional crossroads between the Baltic and Black Seas, the fringe between Europe and Central Asia. Settlements here date back to the ancient times and it was in the 10th century that the region was one of Europe’s most powerful kingdoms.

The Ukraine covers a huge area of land which is as varied and colourful as it’s history. In the west, the city of L’viv is one of central European elegance, at the foot of the country is the Crimea and the seaside resort of Yalta whilst the capital, Kiev, is a cosmopolitan city with busy streets, excellent nightlife and is rich in history.
