Perfect for independent travellers, this unusual and unforgettable experience transports you thousands of miles through dramatic landscapes and richly varied cultures. You will embark the world famous Trans-Siberian Express at its starting point in Moscow where you can start your trip by enjoying Moscow’s numerous cultural and artistic attractions.

Upon leaving Moscow, you will see the stunning gold and blue domes of the legendary Golden Ring towns before passing thought the Ural Mountains and glimpsing the obelisk where Europe meets Asia. At this point, you have three alternative options:

The Trans Siberian route ending in Vladivostok

The Trans Mongolian route ending in Beijing via Ulan Bator

The Trans Manchurian route ending in Beijng

Life on the Express is never dull. Sit back and relax in your comfortable surroundings: tackle a great Russian novel, play games or simply point your camera at the ever-changing scenery drifting past. You will enjoy regular stops, meet like-minded fellow passengers or can relax with a drink in the dining car.

Accommodation on the train is in 2nd class, four berth compartments or you may chose to upgrade to 1st class, two berth sleepers. Each train has a dining car where hot and cold meals can be purchased throughout the day. Alternatively, there are stalls at the stations en route, selling tasty local snacks.

Trans Siberian Express: From £1,299 per person (9 nights)
Trans Manchurian option: From £1,399 per person (11 nights)
Trans Mongolian option: From £1,399 per person (10 nights)

All tours include flight from London to Moscow, returning from Vladivostok or Beijing. 1 night in Moscow and 1 night in Vladivostok or Beijing (3* hotel based on twin occupancy). 2nd class rail ticket in a 4 berth compartment (possibly a male/female share).

One way transfer in Moscow; airport to hotel or hotel to station: £50 per car (2-3 persons), £80 with guide assistance.

First Class rail (2 berth): £299 per person
Upgrade to Business Class Flights: £450

Ekaterinburg Extension
Includes 2 nights in Ekaterinburg, transfers, city tour and a trip to Ipatievsky House (where the Romanov family were assassinated) and the historical Church of the Blood).

Irkutsk Extension
Includes 2 nights in Irkutsk, transfers and a trip to Lake Baikal. The lake contains almost a quarter of the world’s freshwater and is the deepest lake in the world.

Vladivostok Extension
Includes 2 nights accommodation, departure transfers and a city tour. This is the final destination on the Trans-Siberian route and you arrive here nine days, 9,302 km and seven time zones after leaving Moscow. The name means “Lord of the East” – a fitting title for the largest and most exciting city in the Russian Far East.

Ulan Bator Extension
Includes 2 nights in Ulan Bator, transfers and a city tour. Known as the world’s coldest capital, this intriguing city is home to over half a million people, a quarter of the entire population of Mongolia.

Beijing Extension
Includes 2 nights in Beijing, departure transfers and a city tour. Visit the famous Tiananmen Square and Mao’s Mausoleum. Extra nights available (please ask)
